Activities: Planning dishes, preparing and cooking food; planning, supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen assistants; checking food quality; weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgement; adjusting the temperature of ovens, grills, cooking plates and other cooking equipment; inspecting and cleaning the kitchen, kitchen equipment and serving areas to ensure safe and hygienic food handling; operating large kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers and griddles; independent food preparation; ensuring food quality, proper storage and efficient use of ingredients; cleaning work surfaces and equipment in accordance with HACCP requirements; monitoring food stocks; receiving delivered goods and checking their quality; and performing other tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

Experience and other skills: Secondary vocational or general secondary education in hospitality and tourism, sports, personal services or another relevant field. Higher vocational education is also acceptable. Experience in preparing Mediterranean cuisine and à la carte dishes is preferred.

Language skills:

• English basic
• Slovenian knowledge is an advantage

Type of contract: permanent,

Working hours: full time, 40 hours/week, 2 shifts

Day(s) off: Sundays and public holidays, plus one day off during the week

Salary: gross 3,600.00 EUR per month
