COOK ASSISTANT / 4-STAR HOTEL (Bovec, Slovenia)

Place of work: Bovec, Slovenia

Activities:

the candidate will:

– assist in preparing breakfast products and snaks,

– replenish the breakfast buffet or the service station,

– ensure proper food storage and stock levels,

-maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene according to HACCP and follow safety and food handling guidelines

Level of education: Vocational education, in a coherent field as Food, Hospitality and Personal Services

Experience and other skills:

  • previous coherent work experience up to 2 years;
  • driving license B type

Type of contract: fixed-term contract of 12 months, with the possibility of transformation to open-ended

Working hours: full-time (40 hours per week). The work, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, begins early in the morning with the preparation of breakfast and snacks.

Salary: the salary and conditions will be defined during the interview, also based on the candidate’s previous experience

Language skills:

  • Good knowledge of English (Listening, Reading, Spoken production & interaction) at B1 level;
  • Knowledge of the Italian and or Slovenian language at B1 B2 level is preferable.

Knowledge of the English language is essential for communicating with guests. And knowledge of the Italian or Slovenian language is very welcome.
