CROSS-BORDER HACKATHON 2.0

During the event, many guests from different local, national and European realities addressed the topic of “cross-border” from different perspectives.

• Helmut Lechner, responsible for the European Cross-Border Partnerships financed by the European Social Fund Plus for the Directorate General of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion Unit E.1 – Labor Mobility, Public Employment Services, ELA of the European Commission, with an overview of the relevant data to cross-border mobility within the European context;
• Mario Di Sepio, responsible of the cross-border observatory born with and thanks to the EURADRIA project, with a focus on cross-border mobility within the EURADRIA region, an overview of the data collected in the two-year period 2022-2023 and the methodology;
• Valerija Okorn, National Coordinator of EURES Slovenia and Catia Mastracci, National Coordinator of EURES Italy, illustrated the activities that EURES, the European network of employment services, has carried out during the thirty years since its birth (#EURES30) at European level , national and local;
• Maria Cristina Sordilli representing Paolo Acunzo, Director of the Big Science Business Forum 2024, a business-oriented conference focused on high technology and innovation with the aim of being the main meeting point between research infrastructures and industry in Europe;
• Alessia Vetere, Coordinator and PM of the EURADRIA project, presented the “EURES ITALY for BSBF2024”, a dynamic recruitment event that will take place on October 4th on the digital platform of the European Online Job Days and will have a specific focus on the Big Science Market ;
• Giulio Selvazzo representing Romina Kocina, Director of the EGTC GO, an Italian public body founded in 2011 by the Municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba, a key instrument in the conception and implementation of GO!2025 – European Capital of Culture 2025;
• Representatives of the Interregional Trade Union Councils (IRTUCs):
